Refunds, Cancellation & Disputes

This page explains how cancellations, refunds, and disputes work for orders placed with Oakhaven Media through oakhavenmedia.com. Our goal is to be fair, fast, and clear — if something isn't right, email admin@oakhavenmedia.com and we will work with you to resolve it.
Nature of our service
We provide digital video editing services. We do not ship physical goods, so there is no physical return or shipping process. Refunds, where eligible, are processed back to the original payment method.
Cancellation policy
- Before work has started: You may cancel an order at any time before our team has begun work on your project and receive a full refund. Contact us at admin@oakhavenmedia.com with your order number.
- After work has started: Once our team has begun work on your project, the order is non-refundable. You may still cancel to stop further work, but no refund (full or partial) will be issued for orders already in production. We will continue to deliver the work you have paid for, including the included revisions.
- Subscription / retainer plans: You may cancel a recurring plan at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future billing; the current billing period is not pro-rated unless required by law.
Refund policy
- Eligibility: Refunds are only available if you cancel before our team has started work on your project. Once work has begun, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued.
- Not eligible: Any order where work has already started, change of mind after work begins, requests outside the original scope, content issues caused by source footage you provided, or requests made after delivery.
- How to request: Email admin@oakhavenmedia.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
- Processing time: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Funds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
- Promotional orders: Refunds on discounted orders are calculated on the actual amount paid, not the original list price.
Returns (physical goods)
We do not currently sell physical goods. If we introduce any physical product in the future, return instructions, eligibility windows, and shipping responsibilities will be published on this page before checkout.
Dispute resolution
If you are unhappy with any part of your order, please contact us first at admin@oakhavenmedia.com. Most issues are resolved within 1–2 business days. Before opening a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer, we ask that you give us a chance to investigate and make it right — this is almost always faster for you.
If we cannot reach an agreement, you retain your statutory rights and may pursue a dispute through your payment provider (Stripe / Razorpay) or applicable consumer protection channels in your jurisdiction.
